Archangel allows your organization's ADMIN to custom-tailor a wound care workflow allowing you to balance data capture with workflow speed in your effort to optimize wound care outcomes and cost.
Your organizations AMDIN user role has the ability to determine which mobile app screens are turned on or off or what frequency a screen might need to be seen by the caregivers. As a result, the ADMIN can control:
- The Amount of time a clinician spends on a wound care visit–before, during and after the visit.
- How much time the clinician spends in front of the patient.
- What/how much wound care data is captured.
As a result, the length of time the clinician spends on data capture during assessment, treatment and ordering can be controlled (custom-tailored) and optimized for your organizations needs.
The more data collected the more insights can be derived to improve wound care outcomes.
Settings - Screens and Frequencies
First, access the Archangel Web Application at www.app.go-archangel.com.
Next, click the "Settings" tab and then the "Screens and Frequencies" tab.

Screens are categorized into 6 categories:
- Patient Set-up
- Wound Set-up
- Wound Recurring
- Assessment
- Treatment
- Order Product
You can custom-tailor what mobile app screens are shown and at what frequency, by doing the following:
- Select one of the category tabs,
- Turn on or off the screen by moving the switch to the on or off position,
- Set the frequency(days), if applicable.

After you have customized all of the screens in that category, click save and continue customizing additional categories as needed.
After saving, your custom-tailored workflow is altered to reflect your screens and frequency selections.
The below graph shows a breakdown of data collected and the approximate amount of time required to collect that data:

The more screens turned on and at a higher degree of frequency will mean your organization is collecting MORE data. This will also mean your clinicians will spend MORE time in the mobile application collecting that data.
The more data collected the more insights can be derived to improve wound care outcomes.
The more screens turned off and at a lower degree of frequency will mean your organization is collecting LESS data. This will also mean your clinicians will spend LESS time in the mobile application collecting that data.
Minimize time with Mobile App in Front of Patient
And Finally, Archangel allows for the clinician to “get in and get out”, spending only the absolute minimum amount of time in front of the patient. This is accomplished by allowing the user to ”Save & Finish Later” after performing the minimum activity and data collection in front of the patient. The clinician may finish the rest of the required steps later. As you can see below, with only a few minutes in front of the patient using the Mobile App, you can be assured your focus is on the patient and not the application.

The option also exists to "Save & Continue", which means the clinician can continue to assess, update treatment/care plan and even order products while still with the patient.
