Measuring a closed wound and marking a wound as healed

Key Points:

  • Use the adjust line minus button to reduce the length or width of the measurement line to ZERO. This allows you to document a wound that is “CLOSED” with zero measurements.
    • Note: Users can also change measurements to ZERO on the web application
  • Navigate to ”Mark wound as healed” when the wound is considered HEALED (currently can only be done on mobile app but not web app)
    • Note: A closed wound does NOT mean a healed wound . . . Often it will take weeks or months for a wound to heal after closing.
