This article details the changes made to the Archangel mobile version 2.2.3
New Features, Functions and Modifications
1. Option for manual entry of Length, Width of a wound (mobile app) - Prior to this change it was only possible to capture Length and Width using the Archangel measuring technique. Now, the user has the option to manually enter Length and Width. The manual method is preferred by some clinicians and also is recommended for circumferential wounds (defined as a wound that goes around the outside edge of a round or curved body part).
In the below screenshot when the user selects the Manual method . . .
. . . they are sent to a screen (see below) that allows them to enter measurement values manually by typing in the measurements using the keypad at the bottom of the screen. Once the user finishes entering the values, they press "Cancel" to close the numeric keypad and a NEXT button will appear for the user to proceed to the next screen.
2. Improved & Simplified entering Tunneling and Undermining measurements (mobile app) - Added the ability to enter multiple depths using a simple keypad (see below). The user must tap a cell and then must enter a numeric value into the cell using the numeric keyboard. To enter a value less than 1 cm, type a leading zero before the decimal point. For example, 0.9
When finished entering depths, the user clicks "Done". This closes the numeric keypad and a NEXT button will appear for the user to proceed to the next screen.
